アットホームな小規模校
 Montreal International Institute of Language Arts (MIILA) は、モントリオールのダウンタウンに位置する小規模のとてもアットホームな語学学校です。
MIILA は平均 6 名、最大 10 名の少人数制で、アジアからの学生は少なく、中南米、ヨーロッパ、そして中近東の学生など、国籍比率がとても豊かな点も特徴の一つです。
MIILA の講師陣はすべて英語ないしフランス語のネイティブ・スピーカーで、特にフランス語は、アットホームな環境ながら100 % 英語もしくはフランス語で授業が行われるため、リスニングやスピーキングも含めてフランス語漬けとなります。
MIILA では午前中は基礎である文法を中心に、午後は 4 技能をカバーした会話中心のクラスが展開されます。先生からのケアも厚く、発言機会が豊富にあるためシャイな方でも話やすい環境が整っています。
MILLA はモントリオールのダウンタウンに位置し、地下鉄グリーンラインの Guy-Concordia 駅、オレンジラインの Lucien-L'Allier 駅のどちらからも徒歩 5 分程度というロケーションの良さが魅力の学校。ショップやレストランが並ぶ St. Catherine Street や夜遅くまで賑わう Crescent Street に近く、放課後の選択肢も豊富です。
MIILA は 2007 年設立という比較的新しい学校の為、建物やクラスルームはポップな内装が自慢で、カラフルな内装とアンティークな家具が並び、一軒家のような雰囲気で、とてもアットホームな環境です。

楽しく勉強しよう
 Premium Intensive English 週 27 レッスン （月 - 金 09:00 -13:30）
 Premium Intensive は MILLA の標準的なコースとなり、週 27 レッスンのコースとなります。
講師は全員大学の学位、または TESL 資格を持っています。また留学生への指導経験が豊富で、皆さんが外国語を学ぶにあたって理解しづらい点や間違えやすい点を把握しています。
優れた教材、中身の濃い授業、適切な指導方法により効果的に学習できるようになっています。何よりクラスが少人数なので、教師は学生 1 人 1 人に目を配ることができます。
・英語コース（ESL) ： 初級 3 レベル ・ 中級 4 レベル ・ 上級 4 レベル
Beginner Levels (INTRO to 4)
At these levels, students acquire the basic knowledge necessary to be functional in everyday situations. They also learn to talk about general topics. Various interesting activities are part of the learning process and help students master all the basic elements of the foreign language.
Intermediate Levels (5 to 8)
At intermediate levels, students add to their basic knowledge and become more confident using the foreign language. Contextual grammar and communication activities are essential parts of the courses. Students begin to function comfortably in most situations.
Advanced Levels (9 to 12)
More challenging texts are introduced, and emphasis is on speed and comprehension. Students start to focus on such skills as taking notes, summarizing, drafting presentations and writing essays. Students who complete these levels should have the necessary language skills to pursue technical or academic studies and function effectively in a work environment.

フレキシブルなパートタイムコース
Semi-Intensive
週 18 レッスンのパートタイムのクラスとなります。レベルにもよりますが、月曜日から金曜日の午前または午後を選択します。
ひとりひとりのニーズ、興味（文法、会話など）や学生の予定 （月曜日から木曜日のみ授業を取りたいなど） に沿って調整することも可能です。

Premium Super Intensive
短期間で効率的に語学力アップをしたいと思われる方に最適のプログラムです。月曜から金曜日までの Premium Intensive に加え、様々なワークショップや選択授業との組み合わせで構成されています。
試験準備プログラム
TOEIC / TOEFL
 公式試験の準備を整えるだけでなく、最高の結果をおさめられるよう教師陣が最大限のお手伝いをいたします。当校の教師陣は TOEFL 有資格者です。また、授業では最新の教材を使用します。このコースは、月曜日から金曜日、4.5 時間/日のペースで開講されます。
試験準備コース開講期間
TOEFL 準備コース ： 8 週間 (受講開始時レベルによっては最短 4 週間で終了も可能です。)
TOEIC 準備コース ： 4 週間
夜間に通えるパートタイムクラス
Evening Class
MILLA では 3 つのレベルで夜間に英語とフランス語のパートタイムコースを開講しています。開講は週 2 回、18 時から 20 時 30 分の 6 週間、合計 30 時間のプログラムです。
学生の希望に合わせ、不定期で開講し、開講日が決まっておりますので、日程などの詳細についてはお問い合わせください。

アクティビティ
 MILLA organizes activities and excursions on a regular basis. Activity calendars are posted on the student bulletin board every session and you can register any time. We often hold information sessions in the student lounge so that you can find out more about each activity. We strongly encourage you to participate in as many activities as possible, as activities are a great way to practice the language outside the classrooms, to make friends, and to discover your new host country. When you go home, you will have tons of pictures to show your friends and unforgettable memories!
Some of our activities may include: weekend trips to New York City, Boston, Quebec City, Ottawa, Toronto and Niagara Falls; whale watching in Tadoussac; skiing at Mont Tremblant; hiking, camping or canoeing in one of the famous national parks; ice skating in the Old Montreal; happy hour parties (for students 18 years or older), singing at karaoke bars and dancing in nightclubs; and so much more!
Rules and Regulations
・ Students are expected to speak English or French only.
・ Students are accountable to M.I.I.L.A. personnel for their actions.
・ Students are required to be prepared for the educational excursion with the appropriate clothing, equipment and supplies.
・ Students are required to follow the directions and guidance of all personnel involved with the excursion.
・ International students must have proper authorization and medical coverage for participation in academic excursions.
・ Drugs and alcohol are strictly forbidden.
